Academy Rules

ADMISSION

All the fresh admissions will be made after entrance test. The application form must be accompanied by the latest report together with a transfer certificate, from the school last attended. The management reserve the right to refuse admission to any students without furnishing any reasons. Always satisfactory proof of the date- of-birth will be accepted and once admitted will in no case will be altered.

ATTENDANCE & LEAVE

Every students should attended not less than 3% of the number of working days. Attendance will regularly monitored and parents are advised to make minimal request for leave of absence during the term. The request of absence should be made in advance through proper channel. Any leave sanction require parents/local guardian consent only for approval. The name of the students will be deleted from the school record if they are absent for ten consecutive days, without prior permission.

PAYMENT OF FEE

The name of the students shall be struck off if fee is not paid for three consecutive months on first day of the fourth month. In case of late fees, a fine of Rs 100/- is charged for delay of each month. In case re-admission is considered the defaulters will pay all dues, including admission fees.

WITHDRAWL & TRANSFER CERTIFICATE

The request of withdrawal from the school shall be made with at least one month prior notice. Parents should apply for TC on the prescribed form available at the school. TC is generally issued within 3 days on receipt of application form from parents.

OFFICE HOURS

Summer: 11:00 to 13:30 hrs.
Winter 11:30 to 14:00 hrs.

DISCIPLINE

The aim of Bharat Swaroop Academy is to produce disciplined student. The school reserves the right to expel any student on grounds of lack of progress in studies, immoral activity or contempt of authority. The school will inform the parents regarding inappropriate behavior of the ward with suggestion for parental action and support.

FEE STRUCTURE

Tuition Fee is payable quarterly i.e. in Apr. Jul. Oct & Jan. Academy accepts fee through bank draft drawn in the name of Bharat Swaroop Academy. payable at SBI Bank, Dhampur. The fees can also be paid by debit card. Existing fees structure effective from 01 Apr 19 and is subject to changes in accordance to "UTTAR PRADESH SELF FINANCED INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS ORDINANCE".

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION

Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is being carried out for all classes as per the CBSE guidelines. Evaluation of Academic subjects will be carried out in Two assessments distributed over two terms. Each term will have weightage of 50% for the final assessment. Co-scholastic activities, attitudes & values and health & physical education will also be evaluated once a year. Promotion will be based on the day-to-day work of the students throughout the year and also on the performance in the terminal examination.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

It is essential that students come to school wearing prescribed school uniform. A student not in uniform without sufficient reason is liable to be sent home.

PROMOTION & PASS PERCENTAGE

The academic session comprises examinations in which pass percentage is 40% for all the subject. Minimum of 75% of the attendance is necessary from the beginning of the academic year till the end of February to be eligible for appearing in the Annual Exam and subsequent promotion to the next class. Students are required to appear in all the exams including class test/term and summative test/unit tests as scheduled. Students absent for an examination for any reason whatsoever, will not be re-examined. In case of absence due to illness Medical Certificate will be required. Absence for any other reason will not be condoned. If a student misses the annual exam/summative assessments due to illness, the child will have to appear in the supplementary/re-assessment examination arranged in accordance to approval. Promotion are granted on the basis of students yearly performance.

CRITERIA FOR PROMOTION

Classes up to VIII. As per RTE Bill, no child will be detained upto Class VIII.

Classes IX & X. It is for a candidate to obtain not less than D grade in a subject to successfully complete the course. A candidates obtaining El or E2 in subject(s) has to reappear and score minimum D grade.

INSTURANCE COVER

All the students shall be covered under group insurance scheme National Insurance Company Ltd is providing insurance cover to the students as per rules. The amount of premium will be Rs 100/- per year from 01 Aug to 31 Jul next year as per the Bharat Swaroop Memorial Charitable Trust policy the amount of premium is subject to change.
